What happens if my lights become damaged or go out?
Mac's Holiday Lighting retains ownership of the lights. The cost is for the service of installation, maintenance, takedown and storage of the lights. The reason we retain ownership is so we guarantee our lights work every season and will fix problems as soon as they arise. This includes things like strong winds knocking down lights, glue coming undone, bulbs going out or even animals chewing the wires. We also store the lights to save you space and make sure the lights are properly stored and free of moisture that can degrade the products.
Do I own the lights?
Simply submit a request for a quote and a member of our team will reach out to you to confirm details, secure an installation date. We will install the lights, maintain them throughout the season. At the end of the season we will schedule take-downs by neighborhood at no additional charge. We will store the lights for next season to ensure they are ready to go!
What is the Process?
A lot of factors go into our quotes such as size of the home, pitch of the roof and complexity of installation. A first time installation typically begins around $400-500.

Yes, we take a deposit of 25% of the total cost at time of quote approval. This is non-refundable. The other 75% is due within 7 days of installation.

We will evaluate on a case by case basis. Factors that heavily influence whether we will use lights already owned by the homeowner include the condition of the lights and if they were professionally installed by another company.
